President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky appointed a new deputy chief of the Office of the Head of State. It was Igor Brusilo.
The corresponding decree No. 101/2021 was signed by the guarantor on Wednesday, March 17. This is stated on its official website.
“Appoint Brusil Igor Nikolaevich as deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine,” he stated in the document.
It is known that Brusilo previously held the position of head of department of the Main Department of State Protocol and the Ceremonial of the Presidential Administration of the previous head of state. Now this department has been renamed the OCP State Protocol and Ceremonial Service.
Brusilo is called “the president’s chief registrar.” In particular, he was responsible for preparing the meetings, the official receptions for Zelensky.
In an interview with Lb.ua, Brusilo explained that he began studying the protocol in 2002 after graduating from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev.
According to the official’s statement, he lives in Boryspil, Kiev region, has a wife and daughter. Among the properties of Brusil: an apartment in this city of 53.20 m2. m and another 75.30 sq. m, which you own as a joint property. The official drives a 2010 Nissan Qashqai and his wife drives a 2015 Nissan Micra.
