He started training only in the UAE after a month and a half, 3-4 days before the end of the training camp. And everyone missed this episode, except for our doctors, coaches, and myself. This is so, by the way, about the accompanying circumstances …

So we immediately turned on the heating, not understanding what the weather would be like. We played our first league game at the Dynamo, because we didn’t want to spoil Olimpiyskiy before the European competition. Then comes a request from Kolos to play a match with Shakhtar at our stadium. Because Kovalevka’s field is in such a state that they don’t have time to prepare it for the game. I decide to play the game at the Dynamo. Have passed. Then a request came from “Desna” to play 2 games with us. Have passed! Then Agrobusiness approached us in agreement with Shakhtar to play the Cup at the Dynamo stadium. We do not refuse again! Please tell me what we did wrong in Ukrainian football. We gave the opportunity to play many games, not postpone them, so as not to finish the game later, and our players calmly prepared for the European Championship. We work in the best interest of the national team!

And then they tell us: “The field is an orchard!” Of course, having played 6 matches on the field in 3 weeks, in these conditions the field will not be of the best quality. I made a decision: we closed the field for reconstruction, cut the layer of grass, sowed a new one and re-prepared the field. If the stadium is banned for the Ukrainian championship and the Cup, then youth teams of different ages will play there in the future, we will conduct open training. We will find the opportunity to use the sand for the benefit of football. For everyone else, there is the Bannikov stadium: show it what state it is in. They did not punish me with this disqualification!

The fact that Olimpik was unable to organize security, refereeing, are not questions for me. These are claims against the host. We receive a symbolic rent and we pay 3-4 times more ourselves, playing at the Olimpiyskiy! And we provided the field just because I saw how the presidents of Olimpik and Desna are on fire with football. They don’t care where to play, they want to keep our football in the worst conditions of the pandemic. They were ready to play at least two stadiums, just to finish the championship.

Everybody wants to watch football in the stadium, not in the offices. And most importantly, I want there to be no undercover games. I hope I didn’t talk about the fine, otherwise my money will run out soon. I am so afraid of fines that I am shaking everywhere. Will you send me fakies? That I myself can push them where it is necessary, to anyone. At 62, I leave my soul, my heart in football! This affects the family … And they still send me!
