The head of the Ministry of Health mentioned a condition under which a strict quarantine could be introduced throughout the country.
“We will advance the adaptive quarantine strategy. If more than 50-70% of the regions go to the red level, then we will talk about strict quarantine across the country,” Stepanov said, answering the question of whether there will be a shutdown. in Ukraine.
Note that since February 24, an adaptive quarantine is in force in Ukraine, within which the entire country is divided into four zones (red, orange, yellow, green). At the same time, the most severe restrictions apply in the “red zone”. Here, in particular, the work of cafes, restaurants, cinemas, shopping and entertainment centers is prohibited, transport movement is prohibited (urban transport travels with special passes and by train, only special flights). Schools in the “red zone” operate remotely.
As of March 15, there are four regions in the “red zone” in Ukraine: Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Transcarpathian.
