The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on March 19 will consider in the second reading the bill №4201 on the abolition of the transition to summer and winter time. Roksolana Pidlas, a people’s deputy from the Servants of the People faction, chairman of the parliamentary committee for economic development, said this in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine.
“According to the agenda, we will consider the bill in second reading at a meeting of the Economic Development Committee on Wednesday. This means that on Friday we will be able to consider it in the parliament session hall,” he said.
On March 3, the Verkhovna Rada in first reading passed bill No. 4201, which suppresses the seasonal change in time. The document was supported by 247 popular deputies as a basis.

In this regard, the People’s Deputy stressed that if the Rada does not approve the law before March 25, between the first and second reading, the parliamentarians will provide an amendment, according to which in Ukraine “the clock will be changed for the last time on March 25. In September 2011, Verkhovna Rada canceled the change to winter time, but a month later, the parliament canceled its decision.
