NATO ships entered Odessa

To Odessa for the first time since early 2021 ships of the North Atlantic Alliance entered… This is NATO’s second mine action group, SNMCMG2.

A group of SNMCMG2 NATO ships entered the Black Sea on February 25. Before her, in 2021, the American destroyers of the type “Arleigh Burke” – DDG75 Donald Cook, DDG78 Porter and the military tanker Laramie entered its waters.

These ships carried out resupply and patrol exercises on the fly, then left the Black Sea.

Recall that in January 2021, NATO troops conducted large-scale military training in the Black Sea in order to increase the compatibility of the forces of the North Atlantic Alliance and its allies. It passed through the air, the sea and cyberspace.

And at the end of 2020, large-scale exercises of the Ukrainian Navy were carried out. Large vessels and several ships participated in them.
