The decision was made by members of the municipal commission for safety and technogenic and environmental emergencies during an unscheduled meeting of the regional commission for fuels and energy and emergency situations on the critical situation that has developed in Transcarpathia with the incidence of COVID- 19.
From 00:00 on March 7 in Uzhgorod it will be prohibited:
- the work of catering establishments (in addition to specific delivery and take-away orders);
- reception of visitors in shopping and entertainment centers, other entertainment establishments;
- non-food market and shop activities;
- reception of visitors by cultural institutions and cultural events;
- reception of visitors in gyms, fitness centers, swimming pools, except for athletes of the Ukrainian national teams and their coaches;
- holding all mass events (entertainment, sporting, social, advertising and others), except official sporting events and team sports matches without spectators;
What will be allowed during the lockdown in Uzhgorod?
- reception of visitors by commercial entities that sell goods in commercial areas, at least 60% of which are intended for the sale of food, fuel, medicines and medical products, hygiene products and household chemicals, communications, print media, veterinary drugs, seed foods, phytosanitary products;
- commercial activities with specific delivery of orders;
- provision of financial services, financial institutions, postal operators,
- medical and veterinary practice,
- gas station activity (without food zones),
- activities for the maintenance and repair of vehicles, computer repair, household goods and personal items, hairdressers and beauty salons by appointment.
The Uzhgorod City Council also reported that schoolchildren in grades 5-11 from March 9 to 12 study remotely, and students in grades 1-4, except USSH No. 3 and NPK “Pervotsvet”, in school classes .
