The first stage of the repair of the Industrial Bridge in Kiev is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.
As the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, said during an online briefing on Friday, March 5, the Kievavtodor utility corporation has already started the road season.
“We are repairing roads and bridges that have not been rebuilt for 40-50 years. In recent years, the city has repaired about 70 bridges and overpasses. Currently, large-scale repairs are underway on the Industrial Overpass and on the Borschagovskaya street. I will not surprise anyone by saying that the flyover was needed a long time ago This object was built in 1977 and has not been renovated since then. We plan to complete the first stage of the bridge repair by the end of May. The main work repair on Borschagovskaya Street – at the end of August, “said Klitschko.
The mayor also added that the city, as promised, started a major reform of Miloslavskaya Street. There, as in other facilities, the asphalt pavement and sidewalks will be renovated. They will install modern public lighting and equip new communications.
“There are plans for this year to complete the rebuilding of Peizazhnaya Alley and Stepan Bandera Avenue. Work will continue on Dovbush Street, in various sections of the Big Circle. We are planning to begin repairing Heroes of Stalingrad Avenue and many other objects.” Klitschko summed up.
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL reported that in Kiev on February 27 from 7:00 am to May 31 at the Industrial overpass, due to overhaul, traffic will be partially limited.
