Former Minister of Transport and Communications Nikolai Rudkovsky received a suspicion in the case of the kidnapping of the head of Neftegazvydobuvannya, Oleg Seminsky.
Ukrainskaya Pravda reports the surrender of the suspicion, citing a police source. At the same time, OBOZREVATEL learned that the former official at Boryspil International Airport was awaited by employees of the Security Service and the Attorney General’s Office.
The interlocutor of the publication clarified that, in addition to the suspicion, Rudkovsky was also given a request to choose a preventive measure.
Meanwhile, the former official confirmed on his Facebook page that he had returned to Ukraine. He also posted a photo with his mother and noted that he wished him a happy birthday.
“Today I returned to Ukraine, I congratulated my mother on her birthday. I express my sincere thanks to all who sent congratulations,” he wrote.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, it became known in February that the SBU had uncovered the abduction of Oleg Seminsky, a senior manager of the Neftegazvydobuvannya gas production company, in 2012. He is now the ninth convocation of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine.
It was previously noted that the suspect in this case is former people’s deputy and former minister Nikolai Rudkovsky.
