Ukraine’s Attorney General Irina Venediktova said that businessman Igor Kolomoisky could be informed of the suspicions, if enough evidence is gathered.

He made such a statement on the air of the political talk show “Savik Shuster’s Freedom of Speech”. It aired on the Shuster online YouTube channel on Friday, February 26. (scroll to the bottom to see the video).

“There will be grounds, there will be enough evidence collected, we will. Today, to say that something must be extradited from somewhere, without even mentioning these names, there must be grounds for this,” said the Attorney General.

Venediktova added that the criminal process in this case will be open, because the law should be the same for everyone, regardless of name.

“Because we are with you in the criminal process. And, of course, the other party will always have the right to defense. And the process will be public, we must also think about this,” Venediktova said.

Recall that in the United States, Kolomoisky was deprived of $ 17 million for the sale of his business center. They will be transferred to the federal government account, because then the court can confiscate these funds.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, NSDC Secretary Aleksey Danilov responded whether Kolomoisky would have to renounce his triple citizenship. He has passports from Ukraine, Israel and Cyprus.
