Remember AstraZeneca’s Covishield: What is known about the coronavirus vaccine, which will be inoculated in Ukrainians.

“On February 25, the first reports of adverse events after immunization came. There were seven such reports, all of them frivolous, one from the Chernihiv regions and six from Cherkasy,” Lyashko said.

According to him, reports of adverse reactions to the vaccine are sent electronically to the state expert center, where each case is analyzed.

What kinds of “adverse events” are observed – Lyashko did not specify. But he assured that there is no reason to panic, because such reactions are foreseen by the instructions of the vaccine manufacturer. Therefore, the vaccination continues.

In two days, 1,338 people were vaccinated against the coronavirus in Ukraine, the majority on February 25 (792 men, 387 women). Most of the vaccines during the last day (90 each) were administered in Cherkasy and Ternopil regions and in Kiev.
