Health Minister Maxim Stepanov spoke about the results of testing Ukrainian samples for the presence of new strains of coronavirus. The samples were controlled by a laboratory of the German clinic “Charite”.
The results of the verification of 48 Ukrainian samples showed that no new strains of coronavirus have yet been found in Ukraine.
“As for the new coronavirus strain, I can say that we received the sample results from the Charite clinic. We sent 48 samples. We don’t have a ‘British’ strain, at least, and other strains as well,” Stepanov said.
The head of the Ministry of Health added that Ukraine will constantly check the samples in a German clinic.
“Now we are shipping again. It will be a continuous process to determine (new strains of coronavirus – ed.),” Said the minister.
He discussed the start of vaccination on the program “Tomorrow with Ukraine”
On the air “Tomorrow with Ukraine” they talked about the beginning of vaccination in Ukraine. Of course, the Ministry of Health contracts only safe and high-quality vaccines. Ukrainians will receive drugs at the same level as citizens of Great Britain, South Korea, Canada and the European Union. The vaccination process itself is planned.
