Kharkov court ruled to close four Telegram channels

The Kievsky District Court of the city of Kharkiv confiscated the intellectual property rights of four Telegram channels and ordered to close access to them. This was reported on Wednesday, February 24, by the National Commission for state regulation on communication and computerization.

It is indicated that the Department of counterintelligence for the protection of state interests in the field of information security of the SBU requested the department with the corresponding letter. We are talking about blocking the Telegram channels Legitimny, Gossip, Resident and Cartel.

“The investigating judge of the Kievskiy District Court of Kharkiv ruled to confiscate the intellectual property rights that arise from Internet users when they use these Telegram channels by ordering Internet providers to close access to them,” says the message.

It is noted that the decision is subject to immediate execution after its announcement. At the same time, the court decision can be challenged by the Kharkiv Court of Appeal for five days.

Recall that in early February, the SBU announced that a network of 12 Telegram channels worked for the special services of the Russian Federation. Among them were the aforementioned Legitimny, Gossip Girl, Resident and Cartel.
