US President’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki
The Biden administration intends to work with allies and partners to improve Europe’s energy security.
The United States intends to work with allies and partners to influence the situation around the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline and does not see sanctions as the only way to solve the problem. This was stated in a briefing by US President Jen Psaki’s press secretary.
“Sanctions are just one of many important instruments to ensure energy security, so we will also work with our allies and partners to improve Europe’s energy security,” said Psaki.
He recalled that US President Joe Biden considers this gas pipeline project to be “a bad idea.”
It was previously reported that Ukraine and Poland turned to Biden because of SP-2. The Foreign Ministries of the two countries in a joint appeal called on Biden to prevent the completion of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.
