The incident took place on the afternoon of February 19 on Architect Gorodetsky Street in Kiev. During the conflict, the driver of the car hit the pedestrian twice on the head, after which he fell. The victim died on the road. The driver left the scene of the conflict.
The prosecution said that suspects under Part 2 of art. 121 (Intentional serious bodily injury resulting in death) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is a citizen of Azerbaijan born in 1992.
On February 20, the Kiev Pechersk District Court arrested the driver.
