On the 15th day of the UPL Ingulets he met Vorskla in Poltava at the stadium that bears the name Butovsky. We remind you that in the last round Petrovtsi lost to Dnipro-1 and Poltava drew with Rukh.
The first half of the match ended with the minimal advantage of Ingulets. In the 21st minute, Bartulovich converted a penalty after violating the rules on Sitchinav by Sklyar.
The second half gave the public three goals. At first, Poltava leveled thanks to a prepared free kick. Even hanging on to Chesnakov, he threw it into the area where Stepanyuk broke in, and then the striker sent the ball into the net from an acute angle.
Midway through the second half, Ingulets took the lead thanks to a counterattack, which was effectively completed by Sitchinava. However, Lavrinenko’s sentinels were not destined for a second championship victory.
In the 75th minute, match referee Bondarenko noticed a rule violation against Stepanyuk in the nominal owners’ penalty area. However, as the replay showed, the Poltava striker was most likely down. There was no VAR system in the match, which in fact influenced the final result. Kulach executed the penalty, setting the final score of the match – 2: 2.
Vorskla pushed Alexandria from the fifth row and is preparing for a face-to-face confrontation with Sharan’s charges in the next round.
Ingulets moved up to 10th place in the championship, beating Lvov in the standings. In the next round, Lavrinenko’s team will play an away game against Desna.
