Today, February 16, the Lausanne Court of Arbitration for Sport held a hearing on the UAF appeal against the decision of the UEFA Appeals Committee on the award of a technical loss to the Ukraine team in the League match. of Nations against Switzerland. which was to be held on November 17, 2020.
The meeting was attended by the president of the UAF, Andriy Pavelko, the vice president and general secretary, Yuriy Zapisotskiy, legal advisers of the Ukrainian Bar Association and renowned sports companies from Spain and Switzerland.
“The Court of Arbitration for Sport clearly adheres to procedural points, including the right of the parties involved in the process to be heard. Therefore, the three parties participating in the meeting: the federations of Ukraine and Switzerland, as well as the UEFA representative – were given the right to present arguments for their positions and appeal to the arguments of the opponents.
