An explosion occurred at a gas distribution center in eastern occupied Lugansk. This was announced on Monday, February 15, by the Luganskinformtsentr with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic.

“There was an explosion of unknown origin, followed by a fire at a gas distribution center in Lugansk along the second Belomorskaya street. The height of the flame reaches 20 meters,” the message says.

Luganskgaz added that the accident affected a medium-pressure pipeline with a diameter of 400 mm.

No damage done. The fire was extinguished, the fire was liquidated without disconnecting consumers from the gas supply system.
