Russia accused Ukraine of allegedly shirking commitments to implement the Minsk accords and thereby rejecting a “chance for peace” in Donbass.
A propaganda statement about this on Friday, February 12, was made by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country Maria Zakharova, reports “Rossiyskaya Gazeta.”
The woman said that, according to the provisions of the document, “by the end of 2015, peace should have reigned in Donbass.”
“Unfortunately, these agreements were never implemented. Kiev did not seize the opportunity for peace,” says the Russian woman.
Zakharova also did not like the fact that the Ukrainian side does not agree with the negotiations with the representatives of the illegal “L / DPR”, controlled by Russia. The diplomat said that Kiev “is moving away from direct contacts with Donetsk and Lugansk, without which the resolution of the crisis is in principle impossible.”
He also claimed that Ukraine is trying to “rewrite” the agreements.
Donbass, “who should have returned to Ukraine,” according to Zakharova, “is moving further and further away from him.”
The Russian woman, unsurprisingly, was silent about the Russian aggression and the crimes of the Russian Federation in eastern Ukraine.
