Shmygal’s “twin” found at the European Council

Social media users noted a striking external similarity between Denis Shmygal and Charles Michel.

Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday February 9 joint photos with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.

In the photo, both politicians are captured in business suits. At the same time, Michel put on a jacket over a black golf jacket, and Shmygal chose a white shirt and a red tie for the meeting.

Images of politicians who had similar hairstyles, small beards, were roughly the same height and build, complemented the glasses. And during the meeting, Michel and Shmygal wore protective masks, taking them off during the photo shoot.

As a reminder, a meeting of the Ukraine-EU Council took place in Brussels today. The Ukrainian delegation was led by Denis Shmygal. He met with Charles Michel and also had talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
