The propagandists of the Russian television channel “Russia 1” entered the house, which was filmed in Germany by opposition leader Alexei Navalny after the treatment, by deception.
The owner of that villa told Dozhd about this, but the channel does not mention his name. According to the interlocutor, the television representatives presented themselves as tourists from Belgium.
The man noted that the film crew rented the villa for the weekend, and the author of the story, Anastasia Popova, used the French surname Bourt. The filming was also done with a hidden camera. He claims that he did not know they were journalists.
The owner intends to contact law enforcement agencies. At the same time, the head of the Navalny electoral headquarters, Leonid Volkov, explained that this type of filming is prohibited in Germany and is a crime.
The television channel’s report said that the rent for the house exceeded 30,000 euros, but a businessman and friend of opposition leader Yevgeny Chichvarkin assured in a comment to RBC that the amount was exaggerated. The actual cost, he said, was € 15,580, and he paid for the accommodation himself.
Earlier, Russian propagandists showed the house in which they claimed Navalny lived. It was then pointed out that the building could be located in the town of Ibach in the Black Forest. At the same time, the politician himself did not refute media reports about his stay in Ibah.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, Navalny was poisoned on August 20, 2020 on a plane flying to Moscow from Tomsk. In Omsk, he was urgently hospitalized and, two days later, the opponent was transferred to the Charité clinic in Germany, where he remained until his discharge on September 23.
Navalny returned to Russia on January 17. He was detained at the airport passport control and the next day he was arrested. On February 2, the opponent was sentenced to 3.5 years in a general regime colony.
