Signs of corruption were seen in the actions of Alexander Tupitsky

They saw signs of corruption in the actions of the head of the KSU. One of the cases concerns a plot in Crimea and the other a conflict of interest.

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has drawn up two protocols on the ousted president of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Oleksandr Tupitsky. One of the protocols refers to an undeclared site in Crimea and the other refers to a conflict of interest. This was announced on Monday, February 8, by the NAPK press service.

It is noted that on October 1, 2020, NAPK sent a request to Tupitsky to explain why it did not indicate a site in Crimea, issued under Russian law. For this violation they had to draw up a report on him.

However, on October 7, Tupitsky announced that he was on annual leave and asked to extend the time limit to give an explanation.

And on October 27, the CCU recognized unconstitutional the right of the NACC to develop administrative protocols, indicating that Tupitsky made a decision due to a real conflict of interest.

“Thus, Alexander Tupitsky voted in favor of the adoption of the decision in the version that satisfied his private interest,” stressed the NAPK.

After Verkhovna Rada renewed this right, NAPK drew up two protocols for the judge.

The Unified Register of Powers is also reported to contain a document whereby in November 2018 Tupitsky authorized someone to be his representative as the owner of various objects, including a plot in Crimea. There is no data on this site in the State Land Cadastre of Ukraine. But in the Russian registry there is information that on July 19, 2018, the judge acquired ownership of the site.

The protocols will be presented to the court.

As reported, the head of the KSU Tupitsky did not declare a plot of land in Crimea that was bought in 2018 under Russian law.

Subsequently, the judges of the Constitutional Court in closed session declared criminal responsibility for inaccurate statements unconstitutional, which caused political and public resonance.
