SBU imposed sanctions against “Medvedchuk planes”

The sanctions were imposed on the Moldovan airline JET4U SRL and the Portuguese JET4U LDA.

At the initiative of the SBU, sanctions have been introduced against airlines flying to Russian airports, the press service of the special service reported on Wednesday, February 3.

In particular, the Moldovan airline JET4U SRL and the Portuguese JET4U LDA were subject to sanctions.

“Based on the identified violations, the Security Service recommended to the NSDC that it apply sanctions to these companies such as: suspension of financial and economic obligations, total cessation of the transit of resources, flights and transportation through the territory of Ukraine, blockade of assets, “says the message.

It should be noted that the sanctions should be in force until the end of the occupation of Crimea or before the entry into force of the decision of the European Court of Human Rights on Ukraine’s claim against Russia for damages in connection with the annexation of the peninsula.

According to ZN.UA, citing SBU sources, the planes of these airlines were flying in Russia, the president of the political council of the OPLZ, Viktor Medvedchuk, and his colleague Taras Kozak, against whom sanctions were imposed for five years the day before .

Also for five years, sanctions were introduced against regional broadcasters of channel 112-Ukraine – New format, Ariadna TV, TV Vybor, Partner TV, Novini 24 Godini, Novi komunikatsi, Leader TV.

The sanctions provide for the freezing of assets, the prevention of the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine, the suspension of the fulfillment of economic and financial obligations, the cancellation or suspension of licenses, the prohibition of the transfer of technology, intellectual property rights, etc.
