Ukraine imposed sanctions against Wang Jing and three Chinese companies

Ukraine imposed three-year sanctions against Chinese citizen Wang Jing and three companies located in China. The sanctions list also includes a company from the British Virgin Islands.

Relevant documents are published on the website of the President of Ukraine.

Restrictive measures were applied for a period of three years against:

  • Wang Jing, citizen of the People’s Republic of China,
  • Skyrizon Aircraft Holdings Limited (British Virgin Islands),
  • Hong Kong Skyrizon Holdings Limited (Hong Kong, China),
  • Beijing Skyrizon Aviation Industry Investment Co., Ltd (Beijing, People’s Republic of China),
  • Beijing Xinwei Technology Group Co., Ltd (Beijing, People’s Republic of China).

Ukraine applied sanctions in the form of asset freezing: temporary restriction of the right to use and dispose of property; restrictions on business operations; restrictions, partial or total termination of the transit of resources, flights and transportation through the territory of Ukraine.

We will recall, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, put into practice the decision of the Security and National Defense Council on the introduction of personal sanctions.

Note that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine agreed to sanctions against Russian airlines for flights to occupied Crimea.
