Zelensky needs to keep his promises and implement the plans he spoke about before the elections, the OPU chief said.
The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, spoke about President Volodymyr Zelensky’s plans for a second term. Yermak says this in an interview with NV published on Thursday, January 28.
According to him, Zelensky will make the decision closer to the end of the first term based on the results of his activities.
“As for the second term: I think he will be decided with this closer to the end of the first term, when it is clear what he managed to achieve, how he sees further development. For him today there is nothing more important than the implementation of the plans that he proposed to himself, with whom he attended the elections, and an internal assessment of himself ”, – said Ermak.
Speaking about the possibility of a second presidential term for Zelensky, Andriy Yermak emphasized that if the head of state does not fulfill what he promised, then “he will never forgive himself.”
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian economy in 2021 will begin to recover thanks to positive trends in external markets and the monetary policy of the National Bank, said Oleg Ustenko, adviser to the president on economic issues.
Recall that Zelensky signed a law on the restoration of criminal responsibility for inaccurate declaration, as well as a law on the resumption of full work of the National Agency for the Fight against Corruption (NAPC), which eliminates the legislative loopholes that arose in relation to the decision of the Constitutional Court of October 27.
