In Kiev, on January 22, the former first vice president of the SBU, Dmitry Neskoromny, was allegedly arrested, but immediately afterwards managed to escape. The police announced the “Intercept” plan.
The man managed to escape in handcuffs from law enforcement officers, the Card Office Telegram channel reported. According to him, the incident concerns a contract murder investigation. OBOZREVATEL verifies this information.
In addition, along with Neskoromny, the current SBU officer, Andrei Rasyuk, the right hand of the first vice president, was arrested, writes the Telegram channel.
“Both people involved were arrested while transferring money for the murder commissioned by Andrei Naumov, head of the SBU’s own security department,” it was reported.
The incident on his Facebook page was commented on by the Interior Minister’s adviser, Stanislav Rechinsky. He believes that the arrest of the SBU agents may allegedly be “revenge”.
The minister’s adviser wrote that Naumov and the head of the Security Service, Ivan Bakanov, were allegedly involved in this.
Journalist Yuriy Butusov said on Facebook that the fugitive was wanted and banned from leaving Ukraine.
He recalled that Neskornomny was appointed vice president of the SBU from July 1 to November 8, 2019. From November 8 to March 13, 2020, he was the first vice president of the SBU, head of the SBU’s Main Anti-Corruption Directorate.
“Neskoromny really had the most hateful reputation and was fired after a series of scandals related to various suspicions of corruption and extortion already under Zelensky. Wanted,” – wrote Butusov.
