In Ukraine, from January 2020 to January 2021, the average judge’s pension increased from 45.8 to 67.9 thousand UAH. Payments to the military during the same period increased by only 300 UAH and social pensions increased by 100 UAH.
This is indicated in the data of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. In total, 11.1 million people receive pensions in the country, the average pension is 3.5 thousand UAH.
What pensions do Ukrainians receive:
-
judges – UAH 67.9 thousand (a year ago it was 45.8 thousand)
-
military – 5.5 thousand UAH; (5.2 mil)
-
social pensions – 1.7 thousand UAH (1.6 thousand UAH)
-
pension according to the general rules – 3.5 thousand (about 3 thousand UAH).
By the way, starting from July 1, 2021, the minimum pension will increase from 1,769 UAH to 1,854 UAH. At the same time, the minimum payment will be increased at once at 850 UAH to 18 540 UAH.
This increase has already been included in Ukraine’s budget for 2021. The maximum payment is received by those Ukrainians who, with 35 years of experience, received a salary approximately 5 times higher than the average. According to the law, the maximum pension cannot exceed 10 minimums.
To get a high payout, you need:
-
officially work for at least 35 years. For each year worked, they give about 1% of the estimated income (it is less than the real salary);
-
receive a white salary. If they pay more in envelopes, you should not expect a decent payment.
In turn, the minimum pension is linked to the subsistence minimum for the disabled. Indexing will take place in July. In addition, in April in Ukraine, payments will be automatically recalculated for all those who have reached retirement age and continue to work. Due to increasing seniority, the size of the pension will also increase. With an average salary and 35 years of experience, after recalculation, you can get 200 UAH more. If the salary was three times higher than the average, the amount of the increase will be about 600 UAH.
