At the same time, we are not talking about an official meeting of the intergovernmental commission, which was the basis of Kuleba’s meetings with Siyarto previously, but about a personal visit by the Hungarian minister to find a way out of the relationship crisis.

Hungary was the initiator of the negotiations, but the invitation to meet in Kiev, according to media reports, came from the Ukrainian side.

We will recall, in November last year, that the SBU conducted searches of the Society of Hungarians of Transcarpathia. During the searches, several printed materials were found that popularized the so-called “Greater Hungary” and the creation of ethnic autonomy in Transcarpathia.
