Household chemicals and print media were added to the list of products that can be sold in Ukrainian stores during the closure (January 8-25).
The corresponding changes were approved by the Council of Ministers in an extraordinary meeting on January 5. Vasily Mokan, deputy of Servant of the People, government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, said this on Ukraine air 24.
He noted that the list of “permitted” goods was specified on the initiative of the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov.
“The possibility of selling household chemicals and printed press was added. The Ministry of Health added these changes today to the list of goods that can be bought,” said the “servant.”
He noted that at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers “no decisions were made on new closing dates.”
The second important point, according to Mocan, is that in the time remaining before the start of the shutdown, the government, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Economy must inform citizens in more detail about all the details of the future improved quarantine. .
As a reminder, in a briefing on January 5, Stepanov clarified which produce stores and supermarkets will be able to sell locked up:

seeds and phytosanitary products.
Thus, the press and household chemicals were added to this list.
