The strengthening of the quarantine will not affect the train schedule, however, passengers must observe the mask regime.

Long-distance and suburban trains during the enhanced quarantine from January 8 to 24 will operate according to schedule and all measures against the epidemic will be observed. This was announced on Tuesday, January 5, by the UZ press service.

“We urge passengers to always observe mask mode while traveling and use an antiseptic,” the message reads.

Company management also urged reporting possible violations to the contact center and promised an immediate response.

It was previously reported that significant transportation restrictions will be introduced during the shutdown. Public transport and intercity services will remain open, but new restrictions will be introduced.

Today, the Ministry of Health has recalled what is allowed to trade during a blockade.
