A resident of the city of Beregovo announced suspicions
The linguistic expertise confirmed that the texts distributed contained appeals for the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Cyber specialists from the Security Service of Ukraine denounced a resident of the Transcarpathian region, who called for the separation of this region from Ukraine. This was reported on the special services website on Monday, January 4.
“According to preliminary data from the SBU investigation, a resident of the city of Beregovo created a series of accounts on social networks through which he spread campaign calls to violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” the message says.
In particular, the man called on citizens to support the separation of Transcarpathia from Ukraine.
The SBU initiated a linguistic test, which confirmed that the texts distributed by the man contained calls to violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Investigators informed the man about the suspicion under the article on the invasion of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (part 1 of article 110 of the Penal Code).
As a reminder, last week a Transcarpathian court confiscated property seized during a search by the head of the Hungarian Party of Ukraine, Vasyl Brenzovich. It is material evidence in a criminal process.
Later, the Hungarian MEPs in this regard announced a “civil war” in Transcarpathia.
