Justice Minister Denis Malyuska showed a photo of a repaired cell for 22 people in the Kiev pre-trial detention center. He posted the photos on Monday, January 4, to his Facebook page.

Malyuska said that the cost of repairing a camera for 22 people was 67,450 hryvnia. However, not a penny was taken from the budget for repairs.

He noted that on New Year’s Eve the number of paid camera receipts already exceeded two million hryvnia.

Let us remind you that last year the Ministry of Justice launched the opening of luxury apartments in the remand center. The income of the prisoners from the service of using VIP cameras is used to repair free cameras.
