Biden’s inauguration will be virtual
Instead of an actual parade, a virtual version will be held in Washington. Television will broadcast performances across the country.
In the United States, the traditional two-hour march of the president-elect to the White House will be replaced by a virtual parade due to coronavirus restrictions. On Sunday, January 3, CNN reports.
It is noted that the virtual version of the parade will be televised and the program will feature performances by musicians, poets, dance groups and other interpreters. At the same time, the event organizers declare that the parade participants will observe social distance.
It is also reported that after being sworn in on Capitol Hill, Biden will be accompanied by a presidential army escort from all branches of the military to the White House.
As you know, the inauguration will take place on Wednesday, January 20.
It was previously reported that Biden could reach the event by train. And the ceremony itself will be mostly virtual.
It also emerged that current President Donald Trump will not go to Biden’s inauguration. Instead, he plans to hold a rally in Florida.
