In the Lviv region, BMW collided with a Mercedes Sprinter minibus, nine people were injured. This was reported by the regional police on Sunday, January 3.

The accident occurred the day before, at approximately 23:00, in the Pustomyty region on the Kiev-Chop highway.

“The BMW driver, a 26-year-old local resident, lost control, as a result of which the car entered the opposite lane, where it collided with a Mercedes Sprinter driven by a 36-year-old resident of Lutsk,” it was reported.

Eight passengers from the minibus and the BMW driver were injured. Among the injured are four minors. Now the 17-year-old passenger of a Mercedes Sprinter and the driver of a car are hospitalized.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the article on the violation of road safety regulations by people who drive vehicles.

We will remember that earlier in the Zhytomyr region a car ran off the road and crashed into a tree, three were killed. The driver lost control. As a result, two young men died at the scene of an accident and the third died in intensive care.

It was also reported that in Kiev, a car ran over a man and killed him in a crosswalk. The young man did not have a chance to survive, as the car was driving very fast, at a speed of about 80 km / h.
