Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin shared his thoughts on Mircea Lucescu.

This is a great advantage for us. It is important to us that the main competitor grows stronger every year. Competition is the key to success not only in the Premier League, but also in European tournaments.
When I gave him some of my comments about Lucescu, I spoke of the personal decision he made. He does not value people’s relationship, but only his ego. I think he is the first and last manager who, after losing 12 years at a club, went to his rival. As far as I know, there have been no such moments in the world in history.
