Since January 1, 2020, Ukrainians have recalculated the gas subscription fee. In addition to the size itself, the amount of cubic meters to pay has also changed.
This is stated in the OBOZREVATEL material. Therefore, the subscription fee is calculated based on the volume of gas used during the period from October to October of last year. If in 2020 the blue fuel was taken into account, which burned from October 2018 to October 2019, now it will be necessary to pay in figures from October 2019 to October 2020.
The total number of cubic meters for this period is divided by 12. The resulting figure is multiplied by the rate (each regional gas company has its own). You must pay a subscription fee every month, regardless of whether you use gas.
For example, if from October 2018 to October 2019 you used 400 cubic meters, and from October 2019 to October 2020 – 450 cubic meters, last year you paid a monthly rate for 33.3 cubic meters, and in 2021 – Payment by 37.5 cubic meters.
Thanks to the introduction of monthly tariffs, Ukrainians have the right to change gas supplier. So, regional gas must pay for communication, transportation and distribution of blue fuel. But from whom to buy the gas itself, you can choose from dozens of offers. For example, on average, Naftogaz customers pay around UAH 2 more than customers associated with regional gas sales.
