An employee of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, whose death was known on January 1, may be head of the department of citizen appeals of the institution Yevgeny Kotenko
This was reported by the newspaper “Ukrainian Truth” with reference to sources from law enforcement agencies. It is noted that his body was found 500 meters from the hotel complex in the town of Brech in the Chernihiv region.
According to preliminary information, he celebrated the New Year at the Hotel Brech with his wife Yulia. At around two in the morning he would have gone into the forest, where he remained until approximately five in the morning.
According to sources in the publication, a surveillance camera from one of the nearby houses recorded how the prosecutor came out of the forest, stopped and took off his clothes. Hypothermia can be a preliminary cause of death.
There were no visible wounds on his body or signs of struggle.
