Famous Ukrainian volunteer Alexandra Tarasova dies of COVID-19

The volunteer, former head of the Department of War Veterans and Participants of the ATO of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine Oleksandra Tarasova died of coronavirus on Saturday, January 2. Friends and colleagues reported his death on Facebook.

Then, the volunteer Lilia Blokhina wrote on the social network that Tarasova died of a coronavirus infection: “Pain, pain … Friends, our volunteer Alexandra Tarasova died of COVID-19”.

Tarasova’s death was also reported by the former deputy minister for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine, Georgy Tuka.

“Very sad news. After the illness, Sasha Tarasova passed away … I met Sasha in 2014, when they provided armor to our defenders … Sasha always reacted painfully to the indifference of the officers and tried to help the veterans. Rest in peace, Sanya! ” – he wrote.

Volunteer Dana Yarovaya in her Facebook post said that she still had correspondence with Tarasova before she was admitted to intensive care.

“Sasha wrote that she is not being treated and nothing is being done. I am ready to provide this correspondence … Where is the truth now and who will respond?” Yarovaya said.

Tarasova from 2015 to 2018 headed the Office for War Veterans and ATO Participants of the Ministry of Social Policy. He is survived by a student son and a young daughter.

It was previously reported that the actor who played the lead role in the Amphibian Man movie died from the coronavirus.
