This was reported by the JFO press service on its Facebook page. The militants fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) in Donbas with grenade launchers and small arms (scroll to the bottom to see the video).
In the area of responsibility of the operational tactical group (OTG) “Skhid” near Avdeevka, Donetsk region, the armed formations of the Russian Federation opened fire three times with mortars caliber 82, grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
In Vodyanoy, in the Azov region, the enemy fired from portable anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms.
In the area of responsibility of the OTG “Pivnich” near the village of Zolotoe-4, Russian mercenaries fired from multi-system grenade launchers and a large-caliber machine gun, near Novolugansk, with small arms.
The Ukrainian army gave an adequate response to the enemy’s bombardment.
During the last day On December 31, the enemy violated silence mode four times: fired near Starognatovka with an anti-tank and small arms grenade launcher, near Shyrokyne, with 82 caliber mortars and a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher. In addition, the fire from the side of the militants was carried out in Vodyanoy with mortars of caliber 120, near Talakovka, with grenade launchers. There were no losses or combat injuries among the Ukrainian defenders.
All the acts of violations were reported to the representatives of the OSCE.
Earlier, OBOZREVATEL reported that on New Year’s Eve, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fought terrorists in Donbas after heavy bombardment. The militants fired provocative fire towards the Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka, Starognatovka and Vodyanoy.
