Ukrainians will have to pay more for electricity
On average, Ukrainians will have to pay more for electricity than before the abolition of the preferential rate.

“If we analyze the decisions that have been made in recent days, in particular, regarding the increase in electricity tariffs, then the average payment of households will increase by about 80-100 hryvnia, if we are talking about the payment of the first 100 kWh of electricity, “he said. he.
Muzychenko noted that currently 3.1 million households receive the subsidy and the size of the subsidy will increase accordingly.
The Ministry of Social Policy expects the number of beneficiaries of housing subsidies to increase.
The ministry’s analysis shows that among the beneficiaries of the subsidies, more than 95% pay on time for housing and communal services, and among them the level of payments is much higher than the state average.
As a reminder, on December 28, the government established a one-time electricity tariff for the population of 1.68 UAH / kWh, canceling the preferential tariff for the first 100 kWh.
At the same time, the Energy Ministry says that without this decision, the cost of electricity could have risen 2.5 times since January.
