In Ukraine, from January 1, 2021, the total cost of issuing a passport in the form of a card, a passport for traveling abroad, and temporary and permanent residence permits will increase. The price increase will occur due to the increase in the cost of the forms.
This was reported by the press service of the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
Reportedly, the cost of the form for issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of a card will increase from 219 to 237 hryvnia. Consequently, the typical cost of processing a document up to 20 business days will increase from 345 to 363 hryvnias, up to 10 business days, from 471 to 489 hryvnias.
The cost of the form for issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad will change from 330 to 342 hryvnia. Accordingly, the cost of processing a document up to 20 business days will increase from 682 to 694 hryvnia, up to 7 business days (and also up to 3 business days if there are reasons) – from 1034 to 1046 hryvnia.
Furthermore, the cost of issuing a temporary residence document will increase from 891 to 915 hryvnia, and the cost of issuing a permanent residence document will increase from 728 to 752 hryvnia.
We will recall, it was previously reported that British experts will arrive in Ukraine to evaluate the Ukrainian system for issuing biometric passports. At the same time, Ukrainian specialists will travel to the UK to get acquainted with the latest passport protection system.
