Income of Ukrainians began to grow again - State Statistics Service

The income of the population of Ukraine amounted to 1,030,400 million UAH

Income growth for Ukrainians resumed after falling during the quarantine in the second quarter of the year.

The real disposable income of Ukrainian citizens in the third quarter of 2020 increased by 3.2%. The increase came after a tangible 7.3% drop, which occurred after the quarantine, according to the State Statistical Service of Ukraine.

Thus, the income of Ukrainians amounted to 1,030.4 billion hryvnia, expenses – 1,011.9 billion, increased savings – 18.5 billion hryvnia.

As noted in the statistics department, the disposable income per person was 19,390 hryvnia (in the third quarter of 2019 – 18,190 hryvnia).

Korrespondent.net wrote that the National Bank explained the drop in income of Ukrainians. The fall affected all income components, except social benefits, which increased due to the indexation of pensions.

Recall that the State Statistics Service named the average salary in Ukraine. Throughout the year, the real average salary has grown by almost 10%. The lowest salary in September was in Volyn and the highest in Kiev.
