Iran to pay compensation to the families of the victims of the impact of a UIA plane
The families and relatives of the victims of the plane crash will receive payments. A fixed amount must be paid for each person killed.
Iran has determined the amount of compensation to the families of those killed in the crash of the downed UIA plane. For each victim, $ 150,000 will be paid. Reported by YJC on Wednesday, December 30.
“During today’s meeting, the government adopted a resolution on preparation for the payment of an amount of 150 thousand dollars or an equivalent amount in euros for each victim to the relatives of the victims of the plane crash,” he said.
Earlier today, Iran announced the completion of the investigation into the UIA plane crash. Iranian authorities said they took stock of the investigation and sent a report to all interested parties.
Note that Iran previously claimed that it had transferred the final report on the UIA plane crash, that is, an online video report, to Ukraine and other countries.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said the draft technical report was never received by the Ukrainian side, Ukraine received only a videoconference recording on the technical side of the matter.
