Wednesday December 30 Strong winds, fog and, in some places, rain and sleet are expected in Ukraine. In this sense, the forecasters declared the first level of danger (yellow).
According to the press service of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, the speed of storm gusts will reach 15-20 m / s, and in the Carpathians generally 25-30 m / s. In this case, the visibility on the roads will be 200-500 m, which can lead to a traffic disruption in their individual sections.
Furthermore, the press service of Ukravtodor warned, the situation will be complicated by the wet road surface. In particular, precipitation will fall in the regions of Sumy, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn (rain) and in the Carpathians (rain with sleet).
In the Sumy region and in the eastern regions it is will lead to icing. However, to avoid dangerous accidents, the corresponding services have already been involved in the work to eliminate the slip. As a result, travel on all sections of roads of national importance is facilitated.
