The government approved the financial plan of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine for 2020, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko spoke out against it, in particular, criticizing the intention to increase the salary fund in the company.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the financial plan of the NAC “Naftogaz from Ukraine“ By 2020, the document doubles the company’s salary fund. The government made such a decision in a meeting on December 23, reports the GORDON correspondent.
Ukraine’s Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko did not vote in favor of this document. He said that several of its rules should be revised. The financial plan foresees a profit of 11.5 billion UAH, but the company received a loss of 18.7 billion UAH in nine months, the minister said.
Marchenko considers it necessary to review the accreditation mechanism for the company’s doubtful debts, as well as income and expenses, taking into account the infractions revealed by the state audit service. According to the minister, the draft of the financial plan included 13.3 billion cubic meters of produced gas, and according to the approved government concept, this figure should be at the level of 21 billion cubic meters.
The minister specified that it is necessary to review the financial plan regarding the salary fund.
“It is expected to increase the salary fund more than double and the cost of an employee’s salaries: by 56% – for board members, by 85% – for staff. The average salary will also increase significantly. ” – said the minister.
The Government Committee before the Cabinet meeting agreed to the document, said after Marchenko’s speech, Ukraine’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Igor Petrashko.
