Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Serhiy Sergiychuk from the post of head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration (RSA). The corresponding decree was signed on December 29.
This is stated in a message on the president’s website.
It is noted that Sergiychuk was fired in accordance with his request. He spent four months in office.
In another decree, the head of state appointed an interim acting head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration. It was Viktor Gusak.
Please note that Viktor Husak was Deputy Director of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration prior to his appointment. For a long time he held positions in state structures of the financial sector.
We will recall, at the end of August, that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the appointment of Sergiychuk as head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration.
In addition, earlier Zelensky appointed a new head of the Zaporizhzhya regional state administration, Alexander Starukh, who already headed the regional administration from September 2008 to March 2010, became him.
We add that previously the president appointed Andriy Boychuk as the new head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.
