Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy removed Serhiy Sergiychuk as head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration. He was in office for four months, according to the presidential press service.

The corresponding decree was signed on December 29.

“Release Sergiychuk Sergei Ivanovich from the post of chairman of the Cherkasy regional state administration according to his request,” says the decree of the head of state.

In another decree, Zelensky appointed the acting head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration. It was Viktor Gusak.

Before Sergiychuk, Roman Bodnar was the head of the Cherkasy region. His president fired him because he did not see the result.

Prior to this, it was reported that also on Tuesday December 29, Zelensky fired Sergei Krivonos from the NSDC.

We will recall, earlier Zelensky fired the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration. Previously, the official was arrested for bribery. He presented his letter of resignation himself.
