Zelensky signs a decree on high technologies in the field of defense

The document puts into effect the corresponding decision of the NSDC, which implies the transition of Ukraine to an innovative model of development in the field of defense.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy put into effect on Tuesday, December 29, the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on high technologies in the field of defense, which was adopted a day earlier. This was reported by the press service of the Presidency.

The NSDC decision notes that an interdepartmental commission will be created to improve relations in the field of high technologies (training, research, production and sale of high-tech products), as well as to accelerate Ukraine’s transition to a development model innovative. It will coordinate the activities of the executive authorities in the field of national security and defense for the comprehensive development of high technologies.

It is also reported that the NSDC secretary must submit a draft regulation on an interdepartmental commission for approval to the president within one month.

It was previously reported that Ukraine and the United States discussed defense cooperation.
