Russian President Vladimir Putin sees no political will on the part of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky to normalize relations between the countries. At the same time, the Kremlin itself is supposedly interested in this.

This was stated by the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports RIA Novosti.

“So far we do not see or hear any political will to normalize our bilateral relations, which we would like,” Peskov said.

He also stressed that Zelensky allegedly does not have the political will to implement the Minsk and Paris agreements. According to Peskov, there are still no prerequisites for the “Normandy Four” negotiations.

“I repeat once again, President Putin himself has repeatedly said that we are interested in normalizing relations with all our neighbors, including Ukraine,” added Peskov.

We will remember, earlier, Putin said that there was no contact with the current government of Ukraine.

As for the Normandy format, according to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, political advisers can hold a meeting in January.
