The government of Ukraine has decided to cancel the preferential rate of 90 kopeks / kWh for the first 100 kWh from January and has set a fixed price for household consumers at 1.68 UAH / kWh. According to the Ministry of Energy, the established single tariff is approximately twice lower than the market prices for electricity.
