Petition to remove Tupitsky
On December 28, the head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine was supposed to appear at the Attorney General’s Office to present a suspicion of bribery of a witness and the deliberately false testimony of a witness (Article 386 and part 2 of Article 384 of the Code Ukrainian criminal). Tupitsky said he was unable to arrive for family reasons, but did not provide documents on the validity of the reasons for his failure to appear, the department said. The UCP press service sent a message about the suspicion to Tupitsky by mail. In addition, the office sent Zelensky a petition to remove Tupitsky from the post of judge for two months.
The choice of a preventive measure for Tatarov was not carried out.
In a meeting held on December 28, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court decided to postpone the examination of the petition to choose a preventive measure for the deputy head of the office of President Oleg Tatarov. The judge said that VAKS received a message today from the Prosecutor’s Office, who coordinated the election of a precautionary measure, about the change of the procedural chief and the appointment of prosecutors from the General Prosecutor’s Office in this case. In this regard, as the judge said, the new group of prosecutors could not be informed about the time of the meeting.

At a meeting on December 28, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine launched the restoration of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, which was abolished in 2019.
Construction of the Nord Stream 2 section in Germany completed
Construction work has been completed on a 2.6 km section of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in Germany’s exclusive economic zone. According to media reports, the laying of pipelines in Danish waters will begin in mid-January.

People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak headed the Golos faction in Verkhovna Rada.
